Older Videos
If you experience jittery playback while watching online videos, it's usually because the video is still buffering (loading) while you are watching. There are many variables at play, including your internet connection speed, the amount of memory being used and available on your computer, and the player you're using to watch the video.
Most of the time, this problem can be fixed by simply pressing "Pause" to let the video buffer completely before playing it. You can monitor the buffer by looking at the progress of a pale progress creeping its way across the player bar. The speed that the video is loading, relative to play speed.
